Example New construction of a local wastewater treatment plant with state-of-the-art membrane process technology in Keppeshausen with phosphate elimination by the Verbandsgemeindewerke Südeifel.

The implementation of the measure took place from March to May 2015, including complete rehabilitation / new construction of the local sewer network, along with the construction of all house connections for the current 19 residents. The wastewater treatment plant is located directly on the German-Luxembourg border river Our, a first-order watercourse into which the local wastewater treated to bathing water quality is discharged. The pit was constructed in such a way that it is protected against buoyancy. The plant is technically expandable. It has a control shaft with flow measurement, as well as a controlled inlet pump to compensate for the different heights between the canal and the sewage treatment plant inlet. The plant technology is equipped with remote monitoring.
